Dr. Arup Polley

Co-Founder and Chief Research Advisor

Dr. Arup Polley serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Research Advisor at Aantaric, where he is an
integral member of the advisory board and leads the Research and Development (R&D) vertical. Dr.
Polley’s extensive academic background and professional experience uniquely position him as a
leader in the field of electronics and communications engineering.

Dr. Polley earned his B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the
prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in 2003. He furthered his education with an MS in Physics and a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. His academic pursuits have laid a solid foundation for his contributions to research and innovation.

Throughout his career, Dr. Polley has made significant contributions to the field, authoring and co-
authoring over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference publications. His prolific research
output is complemented by his remarkable portfolio of 26 granted U.S. patents, underscoring his
role as a key innovator in his domain.

Dr. Polley work with Texas Instruments in Dallas over 12 years. He began his career there as an
analog design engineer, later transitioning to a research role at Kilby Labs, where he honed his
expertise and contributed to cutting-edge developments in electronics.

In addition to his responsibilities at Aantaric, Dr. Polley is currently an Associate Professor in the
Department of Electronic Systems Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. In
this role, he continues to influence the next generation of engineers and researchers, bridging the
gap between academic research and practical applications.
